About the Author
K.D. Weaver was raised in Prince Georges County, Maryland. At an early age K.D. showed a deep interest in the study of religion. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Ameican University and Master of Divinity from Harvard University. The dialogues in The Sophist are based on the author's experiences as a philosophy student in undergraduate school and later as a minister in Divinity school. Currently K.D. is on sabbatical from doctoral studies in Religion and Society at Drew University.

This book is an AMAZING introduction into the importance of Christian meditation. No matter who you are or how much training you may have, this is an eye opening book into why meditation is so critical to our Christian journey.
